A grotesque on the exterior of the cathedral. A very close up shot. Something I find incredible about older european architecture in person is how detailed even the smallest bits and pieces are. Of course it looks impressive from a distance, but even up close, looking at this or that point, there is a level of detail and craftsmanship apparent throughout.
